Georges Fischer has a long record of various activities inside Paris CCI where he was in charge successively with advisory services to industrial SMEs, multi-channel edition of business information (marketing, international developments, new products), co-ordination of information technology and e-commerce developments and experimental actions and, finally he was Director for international networks and partnerships. This last position included networks management, cooperation and international partnerships (capacity building for foreign institutions, experimental actions…), as well as dematerialization of export formalities.
In 1998 he initiated the Worldchambers Network (www.worldchambers.com), the umbrella for the Chambers’ trusted third party activities (ChamberTrust seal program, Chamber-eVault, trusted electronic archiving) and the only official portal interconnecting worldwide Chambers of Commerce on the web.
In 2016, he founded his own company “Fischer Corporate Consulting International”, specialized in capacity building and training for intermediary organizations and professional associations: strategy, advocacy communication, services to members…
Among other activities, he is member of the « digital strategy » committee of the World Trade Centres Association (WTCA) and he is co-founder of “The next action” (www.thenextaction.com), specialized in advising companies in their digital strategy.
Georges Fischer was teaching entrepreneurship at Master level at HEC and ISC and International consultancy at Novancia. He is Honorary Chairman of APECA (French association for e-business and dematerialized transactions) and past member of the board of ACSEL (French e-commerce association). He is a regular publisher in the online version of Les Echos, the main French economic newspaper (http://lecercle.lesechos.fr/node/37902)
Georges Fischer holds an MBA in Economics (University of Paris) and an MBA in Management (Diploma of the Paris Sciences-Po Institute). He is Chevalier in the Order of Merit.
