Georgeta Mincu is graduated in International Economic Relations in Romania and received her Master of Development Studies in Ireland at UCD School of Politics and International Relations. She has an extensive experience of 20 years working for Government of Moldova, BSO and for many International Development Organizations (WB, UNCTAD, ILO, IOM, EC (through TA projects)) and Financial Organization (IMF, WB, IFC). She was part of leading technical negotiation team on WTO accession of Moldova, manager of TTFSE WB Regional project in Moldova, manager of a Women Support Project in Transnistria, senior economist for Private Sector Development Strategy Paper, Regulatory Reform Initiative, WTO Legal Approximation process, Moldova 2020 Strategy Paper, DCFTA Action Plan of Moldova and Road Map on increasing Competitiveness.
The expert is author and co-author of many economic and development policy studies on trade and customs, business development, remittances and labor migration, including studies: A FTA between Moldova and EU: Feasibility, Perspectives and Potential Impact; TSIA of DCFTA for Georgia and Moldova carried out by European Commission through EU consulting companies.
Currently, the expert leading a Centre for Development and Management, and provide consulting services to Business Sector, Development Organizations, like UNDP, WB, LED, Winrock Moldova on economic policy reforms related to trade, migration and development and entrepreneurial education.
